2016 Virginia Private College Week (July 25-30)
Virginia Private College Week Details
24 members of the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV) host two daily programs for rising juniors and seniors -- and their families. Prospective transfer students are also invited. The program includes a campus tour and an information session about admissions, financial aid, and academic/extracurricular programs.
On Monday-Friday, there will be a morning session that starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends no later than 11:30 a.m.; and afternoon session that starts at 2:00 p.m. and ends no later than 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, there will be a morning session only. There are colleges with exceptions to this schedule, which will be listed below when the colleges finalize their Virginia Private College Week schedules.

Here's How You Participate:
1.Decide which colleges you would like to visit.
2.You don't need to register for the event, but we
strongly recommend that you contact the colleges you plan to visit.
3.Organize your travel plans. Driving directions are available on individual college web sites. This is not an organized bus tour.
4.If you visit at least 3 participating colleges you will receive 3 application fee waivers. You may use the application fee waivers at any college participating in Virginia Private College Week--not necessarily the ones you visited.
5.The application fee waivers will be emailed to eligible participants in late September.
