Robert B. Lambeth Jr.

Robert Lambeth serves as President and has held this position for the past 27 years.  Robert oversees the coordination of collaborative projects for our member institutions, including government relations, marketing, and business & purchasing activities. 
 
He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and studied at Wroxton College in Banbury, England.  He earned a law degree from the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond and has also done graduate work in government and foreign affairs at the University of Virginia.

Lisa Ghidotti

Lisa joined CICV as the Director of Government Relations and Member Services in 2010. Her duties include government relations and joint recruitment marketing efforts. Lisa’s responsibilities include raising awareness of independent higher education policy issues, research and data analysis; as well as planning special events, such as the annual Virginia Private College Student Lobby Day.  In addition, Lisa oversees the planning of Virginia Private College Week, the Virginia Private College Guidance Counselor Tour and other collaborative recruitment efforts.

Prior to coming to CICV, Lisa was employed by Virginia Commonwealth University in the Division of Student Affairs and the Office of Government Relations and Health Policy.  Lisa attended James Madison University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Science and later received a M.S. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. 

Jenny Horton

Jenny is primarily responsible for managing CICV’s Bedford office including finances, human resources, and assisting Robert with administrative items.
 
Jenny has been employed in higher education for the past 17 years.  She worked for Holston Associated Libraries, Inc., a regional library consortium with offices at Emory & Henry College, for fourteen years in both administrative and technical capacities.  Prior to relocating to the Lynchburg area, she was the Instructional Services Librarian at King College in Bristol, Tennessee.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Virginia Intermont College and a Masters degree from The University of Tennessee.

Kate Sigler

Kate is responsible for our collaborative business programs and professional development initiatives.  She also handles various special projects, such as the development of the current website. 
 
Kate was employed by the U.S. Department of Commerce as an assistant to the Deputy Secretary of Commerce and as the Deputy Director of the Office of Advisory Committees.  Most recently, Kate served as the Practice Administrator at the McLean, Virginia office of KPMG LLP.  Kate is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s Degree in American Politics and Economics. 

Tim Klopfenstein, FSA, CERA

Tim is the Plan Administrator and chief executive of the CICV Benefits Consortium.
 
Tim began working in the actuarial field in 1980 and has 17 years of experience as the chief financial officer of various insurance entities including seven years as CFO for health insurers.  He has a Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Math/Systems from Taylor University, Upland, IN.

Wanda Gardner
Manager of Client Services and Accounting, Benefits Consortium

Wanda is responsible for the accounting of the consortium, provides support for its member colleges and edits the quarterly newsletter.
 
Wanda has over 20 years of experience in various accounting roles in several corporations, as well as five years of experience in benefits administration.  She has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, VA.
